Writing a new chapter... I enjoy: Old airplanes, working on old trucks, wandering through museums, recreational reading, getting outdoors, sharing my hobbies with others. On that note: I am a firearms owner and instructor. I have enjoyed teaching, both on active duty and in the civilian world. Through my kids, I also enjoy dog training, but we are not species-discriminating here, as we also have a couple of friendly housecats and some fish in the house. My last road trip to Portland took me to Powell's books, and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. While I was stationed in TX, my spontaneous fun-stops included air museums and antique shops, so everyone could find something fun to see or do.

I'm continuing my education, with the goal of getting my Master's in Psych. As long as my daughter and her****r spaniel are still interested, I'd like to get back to working with and instructing 4H kids.

After retiring from the Marines in 2007, much of my time and attention has been devoted to improving myself and enriching my kids' lives. I brought my 2 kids (I have had full-time custody of my two kids, now 17 and 13, since 2002) back home to WA, where they get to hangout with their aunt, uncles and grandparents on a regular basis. I was able to return to school on a full-time basis, and graduated with a BA in Psychology from Evergreen State College, class of 2010.

Born in Pullman, I grew up running around Woodinville and Bothell and the foothills of the Cascades. Now I'm reestablishing myself in the King Co area, getting reacquainted with my old friends, revisiting my old haunts (or wondering when they put a mall on top of it! Oh well....

My Ipod has an eclectic mix of classic rock, jazz, country, comedy, and classical; all-in-all, just the good stuff. I also like to listen to the news and talk radio.
